Simple Breath Meditation

The breath. The life force energy, prana, and source that sustains life within each of us. Using the breath in meditation is an easy way to guide us to our source, come into our essence, ground, relax, and align as we move into our days with grace and ease. If you are new to meditation or just starting out, I have found the breath to be the easiest gateway into establishing your own home practice. I personally find great use in this technique and find myself utilizing it often.

This brief meditation is a simple compilation of using the natural inhale and exhale of our breath combined with cultivating an intention and releasing what no longer serves us in our lives. It is a combination of breath meditation based in mindfulness (derived from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) and my own personal spin on breath meditation which allows us to bring positivity into our life while releasing negativity.
